Alphabet Pasta

26 March 2008 5 views by: rhodilee One Comment

I remembered having tried eating some sort of alphabet pasta (or alphabet shaped noodles?) when I was younger but I haven’t seen an alphabet pasta in grocery store these days. Or maybe I was not just looking for it, I will check for the alphabet pasta’s availability the next time I go to the bigger groceries downtown. An alphabet pasta would be nice to serve to my son who really hates to learn reading and might just entice him to eat more because he has been picky with foods these days.

Alphabet pastas are manufactured through a process called extrusion. It is the process of shaping materials like pastas and other industrial materials into desired shapes by forcing them into a series of dies. The process is very helpful in the food, construction and automobile industries. Companies offering Aluminum extrusions are listed at an online directory of industrial and manufacturing companies, products and services Zycon.
