I was checking out jobstreet today to look for some work from home jobs and online jobs that I can post in my online jobs site, Jobzonline.blogspot.com. For reason that I have not visited the site for quite some time now (I use references from other blogs and websites; craiglist job postings and yahoo answers to get online job infos),  I decided to take a “tour” around the site.

One of the things that took my attention is the Jobstreet Salary report which allows jobstreet users to evaluate whether they are being paid competitively. Because the call center job is one of the most popular and most in demand jobs in the Philippines today, I tried to check out the average salary of a call center agent in the Philippines and here is the info that I got:

    Bruce,

I got the info from jobstreet but this might really be the average salary of call center agents here in the Philippines. $22.00 per day is already enough for some Filipinos particularly because minimum wage here is only about $10.

Good p.m. I would like to know the name of the call center that is nearest to my subdivision which is Pacita Complex 1, San Pedro, Laguna.
    Thank You Very Much.

    hi rhodilee,

    Need you help!

I am currently creating a contract proposal to a client based in Singapore who would like to hire call center agents from philippines. They are looking for agents that are ccna certified (i think this is cisco). M/F, minimum 2 years experience.

Since i understand you’ve done some kind of surveys related to salaries of our call agents here, will you be kind enough to share your report as one of my basis to utilize? Also, is US$22./day would be attractive and how is night shift differential being computed?

Thanking you in advance for any inputs, appreciate emailing me instead.

    Cheers,

    Act,

The data you see below is from the Jobstreet Salary report. I was not the one who made the actual survey.

If you are interested hiring a European, non-filipino, that speaks fluent English with a neutral accent, Email me at ingenalls@hush.com and we can set up an interview over phone or Skype. I currently work as a Foreign Expert English Teacher at a university in China but will move back to the Philippines soon where my wife and kid live. I’ve worked with telemarketing in Europe before so I have all the experiance needed and more. I’m mainly looking for coach/manager jobs but I’m flexible and open minded when comes to the work load.

    Cheers,

    Andy
