If you are playing Sim City, you will know how crucial it is to build roads and bridges to have a bustling city. When you have few roads and bridges, your sims will also call on you, the mayor, to build more roads to accommodate the growing traffic. In my case where I prefer to have two lands separated by a large body of water in my sim city, I really need to build good bridges so my sims can easily pass from one land to the other.

While sim city is just a computer game, it actually gives us a good overview on how politicians should think to build a successful city. It is just easier to operate a sim city than managing a real city though. With a sim city, you need only to grab your mouse and, with enough simoleons, you can easily build new roads, bridges and even tunnels and train stations. The process of building roads actually takes only a few minutes in sim city. In real life, you need to look for contractors and wait for months if not years to see a finished building or road.
