Hubby, our son Kulay and I went with Father Time for a fiesta in Baracatan here in Toril. Mother Nature did not come because it rained last night and she said the area was so muddy and sticky. I thought she was exaggerating but I realized that the soil in that farm is really sticky– it’s clay.

I’m back in Davao.
My stay in Manila was short and really exhaustive. I was really sort of unlucky with the taxi cabs. I did not ride a NAIA airport taxi para makatipid. I decided to walk and got inside one of the queuing taxis but then the taxi driver asked me an additional 50 pesos when I told him the meter isn’t working. I told the driver that I’d rather get out of his cab and so I called another taxi which happened to also have another !!&%$ taxi driver.  …

Jenkins and I finally managed to buy a new grill yesterday. We went to the market and bought a self standing grill. It was quite expensive:PhP500 pesos but we managed to get a bargain and bought it for 450 pesos. At least I no longer have to worry about a grill whenever I feel like eating sinugbang bangus and sinugbang panga ng bariles.
Speaking of panga ng bariles, this is really my favorite and one of the reasons why I love to live in Davao. Unforunately, I only get to eat …
