Singapore

For poor people like us, going outside of the country for a vacation is already quite a treat but with all the hard work, I guess we really deserve to treat ourselves and our son a 3 day stay in the Merlion country last October. Our trip is actually a sort of a gift to our son who celebrated his 5th birthday last October 30. The trip was also financed by several months of my adsense earnings :-) so please make this world adsense publisher safe, do not make illegal clicks on google ads hhehhehe.

I bought our Cebu Pacific tickets online as early as May (a day before my birthday actually) but I decided that we will leave on October 26 in time for the school break and for us to be able to come home on our son’s birthday. I also booked for a  hotel as early as August.

Some experiences and pics during our family trip to Singapore:

At the airport. Our Davao-Manila flight was delayed for an hour so all of us were really bored at the airport. Thankfully, we arrived on time in Singapore (around midnight). We took advantage of the Airport shuttle service to bring us to our hotel.

We ate breakfast in Bugis and I was able to persuade hubby to walk to Suntec Mall. My son had a great time at the Koi garden while we were waiting for hubby’s cousin who would accompany us to the Zoo.

Went to Singapore Zoo and Night Safari

Day 2 October 28

Stopped by the Singapore Flyer (note: di na kami sumakay. Actually doon kasi ang meeting area ng mga Asia tours buses. We were actually afraid we can’t have a DIY in Sentosa so we availed of a guided tour)

Rode the sky cable ride to Sentosa Island

Actually wala akong nabili para sa sarili ko just a desk clock and picture frame na nakalagay sa tabi ng headboard namin ngayon. Di ko na rin nabili ang mga bilin na ipabili kasi it is already around 9PM by this time and our flight is 12 20 midnight and we still have to fetch our belongings sa hotel. The food were superb but I missed the good old rice at home.
