Forgive me people but it really pissed me off when I checked out the overture keyword selector today. There were 5241 searches on the keyword “filipina nude” as of January this year. This is the most widely used related search term for the keyword Filipina. I don’t want to go through the details of the overture keyword results because it is disgusting and it hurts me a lot as a Filipina.
This gives me the best reason why I will be joining Janet Toral’s Filipina Writing Project this year. Yeah, the prize would be worth contemplating for but I will be joining the project basically because I want to tell the whole world what a Filipina really is.

I will also be posting the pinay image I got from the Filipino Librarian in my sidebar. This will create an awareness of what Filipinas really are.
