My husband turned 26 yesterday.

My parents in law invited us for a lunch yesterday afternoon but we didn’t actually expect that they prepared an extended family lunch. So instead of our original plan to spend the whole day at home, we were with relatives for an afternoon of lechon, kinilaw and ice drops.

And of course, being the loving wife that I am (hahahaha!) I made sure that Jenkins had a special day yesterday despite that he didn’t want to go somewhere else. I made reservations for a special dinner at the Marco Polo’s Cafe Marco and sent invitations to our close friends as early as last week. By 7:30 PM last night, Guy, Ernie, Greta, Lloyd, me and the birthday celebrator are already feasting on the buffet dinner. A special birthday will not be complete without a cake, a candle and a birthday wish so I also requested for a celebration cake last night and the staffs of the Cafe Marco sung the ever popular Happy Birthday song to my blushing husband hahahah.

All six of us headed to our humble home after dinner; hubby had his next round of blowing candles on a cake I set aside for home and we were awake until 3 in the morning. Geee, how I wish Kulay was here, His grandparents allowed him to sleep at his great grandmother’s house with the other kids.
