I can no longer remember when and how exactly my son’s love affair with dinosaurs started. All I know is that relatives have been calling him T- rex for quite a long time now because he talks a lot about these extinct reptiles.
Having a son who loves dinosaur can be annoying at times. We would go to Toy Kingdom to buy him new toys and he always ends up pointing the same set of toys– dinosaurs. The same applies when we buy new books. Kulay already has a number of dinosaur toys and books that my husband and I would try to revert his attention when he shows signs of picking up another book on dinosaurs or going to the animal toy lane that displays stocks of toy dinosaurs.
Last December, my parents in law brought my son to Toy Kingdom so he can choose a toy he wants for Christmas. My parents in law allotted a budget that would have allowed my son to buy a costly set of Hot Wheels or a kiddie gadget but my son only wanted a dinosaur egg that costs less than one hundred pesos (around 2 dollars).
Prepare to see my son rattling about triceratops, t-rex, brachiosaurus and other words ending in “saurus” when you see and chat with him in person
Sharing here some pictures of my son with his dinosaur collection of books, bag, toys, etcetera. The toys in this picture is less than half of Kulay’s dinosaur toys. The bigger ones were left at his grandparents house where my son stays every weekend.

I’ll try to take new photos of my son’s dinosaur collection as soon as I bring back those dino toys back to our house again. Hopefully I will be able to do that before my son starts collecting treadmills
