I lost my three year old cellphone today.

The cellphone is three years old (turning four this year) and I don’t care about the cellphone because it’s not that expensive anyway but thinking about the contents of the phone gives me joint pain. The phone has photos and videos of us and the younger Kulay . My most favorite audio recording is also in there– Kulay’s rendition of the “away in a manger” song we recorded when he was still 4 years old (he’s six now).

Globe telecom issued me a new sim card (for a fee of 300 pesos) but the sim has my good old number (minus the contacts and saved text messages). The new sim card is now housed in my brand new cellphone, a nokia 2323:
