I am a no show today at my niece’s 1st birthday party. My cousin sent me a text a few days ago inviting me to go to Kidapawan and attend his child’s birthday party. I really wanted to go so I can at least have some time off from my work and of course the food at the party is great. I really love to eat good food. Nevertheless, I was not able to come because it is Tuesday which means that my son Kulay has a class and I find it unwise to have my son travel to and from Kidapawan for a day just to attend some party.

It is also quite difficult to go to Kidapawan on week days because public cars like buses and vans are fewer. I neither have my own car and travelling can really be a pain in the neck when Jenkins is not around. Honda launches VCM 643 but we cannot yet afford to buy a new car these days. I just hope to come for a party next time. One of my cousins will be having her first birthday a few days after my birthday in May after all. Maybe I can come by then.
