Since I (and hopefully hubby) will be going to Zamboanga this February, I am already making some research on where to go to while I am there. I have been googling for places to visit in zamboanga and for some cheap hotels and here are some of those places that I might be visiting in Zamboanga city:

Fort Pilar. Fort Pilar was built by a Jesuit Priest-Engineer on June 23, 1635 to ward off attacks from the moros and foreign invaders.
City Hall. The City hall is actually a Hispanic building completed in 1907 by the Federal Government of the United States.
Pettit Barracks. The Pettit barracks was occupied by the American Forces under the leadership of General C. Bates after their capture of the city on November 16, 1899.
Pasonanca Aviary. The Pasonanca Aviary is a new zamboanga spot that showcases different species of local and imported birds
Pasonanca Park. The Pasonanca Park won first prize as the number one garden of the Philippines in a 1959 nationwide contest for parks, plazas, and gardens.
