It has been more than four years since I gave birth to my son Kulay via cesarian section and I can hardly remember the term that has to define the symptoms that I have had after my pregnancy: postpartum depression. I still have to google for the term because I already forgot it but I still remember how it feels like to have this undesirable condition: I hardly ate after I gave birth (which is why I was so thin when my son was less than a year old) and I always feel depressed, misunderstood, overwhelmed and lonely. I am thankful that I have survived and overcame that period.

Like me, other women also experience difficulties after they gave birth. Some women went through PPD while others have had physical troubles. Some women experience severe vaginal relaxation after child birth which results in them to decide going through surgery.
