Believe it or not, my son Kulay brings one or two newly sharpened and oftentimes brand new pencils to school EVERYDAY and he still always goes home without those pencils. Worse, he seems to always end up borrowing pencil from his teacher whenever he loses his pencils so he can copy the things written on the board. I learned about this yesterday when I saw my son return a pencil to his teacher’s desk and asked him why he needs to borrow somebody else’s things. My son told me he lost his pencils AGAIN so I bought a new pencil case yesterday (his third or fourth one this school year) and several new pencils.
To make sure nobody else will bring home my son’s pencils again, all the pencils Kulay brings to school starting today already looked like this:
