The Dragon Fruit

The Dragon fruit is a red, pulpy cactus fruit. Also called as “pitaya”, the fruit is a good source of Vitamin C, fiber and minerals. In Taiwan, it is used by diabetics as a food substitute for rice. It is also believed to boost excretion of heavy metal toxins from the body.

You can try the Dragon fruit shake at the Davao Crocodile Parks’ Riverwalk Grille or buy dragon fruits at the SM Davao Supermaket.
