A two month old baby in Pasay City was reportedly bitten by three huge rats last Friday (?) and miraculously survived. The rats ate the flesh in the baby’s arms and legs exposing his bones.

The monster rats attacked again Saturday. This time, the victim was the previous victim’s relative, a 14-year-old girl living in the same house who was bitten in her hand while she was sleeping.

It is not yet verified whether rats have rabies but they can carry with them a number of diseases that can be deadly. According to Orlandorats, the diseases that can be caused by rats include:

Rat-bite fever (RBF)
Leptospirosis
Eosinophilic Meningitis
Salmonella enterica serovar Typhimurium
Murine Typhus
Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome (HPS)
