Some time ago, I blogged how lack of water can make people fat and there seems to be more advantages of drinking enough water everyday than just quenching thirst. In the article “How water can help reverse your acne problem” from Buzzle.com, lack of water is said to causeĀ water retention. Water retention puts pressures on the skins cells which results in blocked pores and consequently acne.
Toxins are also one of the major causes of acne and toxins can be flushed out of the body more easily with adequate water. There may be people who drink enough water though but are still suffering from acne. According to Acne.com, the problem may also be related to the hormones, lifestyle, hygiene and even medication.
