I am still looking for a wordpress theme that I can use in my blog. One that is free, clean and one that I can customize so my site can look “unique”.

There are actually a number of nice looking themes out there but I always bump at some problems when I use them in my site. Here are some of the problems that I met:

Mandigo theme: Takes my site more than 5 seconds to load. Site visitors often leave a site when it fails to load in 4 seconds or less. Using quicklime theme, my site loads in 3.19 sec.

Wordpress themes by EasyWebTutorials.com and Wordpress theme generator: My wordpress blog stats stops working everytime I use these themes.

Cityscape theme: same problem with EasyWebTutorials.com and Wordpress theme generator

That would leave me having to learn HTML and better yet learn how to make my own wordpress theme. Quicklime is nice but it does not make my site distinct from other sites that already used this theme.
