The Toronto CN Tower in Toronto, Canada has been the tallest free standing structure in the world until it was overtaken by the United Arab Emirates’ Burj Dubai. Nevertheless, the CN tower to date remains to be the tallest finished free standing tower on Earth and continues to be a magnet for travelers and tourists coming from different parts of the world.

Measuring 1,815 ft, 5 in height, the CN tower is a telecommunications hub in Toronto serving as a communications tower for a number of media companies. Its world renowned height, however, has also made it a primary tourist spot in the area. It has become an architectural icon of Canada and has been considered to become one of the modern seven wonders of the world by the American society of Civil Engineers in 1995.

It is therefore no wonder why people who are visiting Canada and Toronto in particular usually make it a point to visit the CN tower.
