One of the perks of living here in Davao City is that I often find great bargains on dinosaur toys for kids. Most of the dinosaur toys I buy for my son only cost around a hundred pesos (around two dollars). The other day, for example, Kulay’s grandmother bought him two dinosaur egg toys and she said they only cost 99 pesos (less than two dollars) at JS ilustre.

The downside is that we have limited choices for dinosaur toys here and many dinosaur toys I see online are not available here. Just today, I asked a friend who is based in Manila to buy for me the neat oh zipbin dinosaur. I saw this at Toys R Us in Trinoma when I visited Manila a year ago but I was not able to buy it for my son.
Since Kulay has been using sand as his dinosaur toys’ landscape, I decided it’s about time to “get clean” and buy him the zipbin dinosaur so he can use it to store his dinosaur toys and at the same time use it as a landscape for his toys.
Too bad, my friend told me zipbin dinosaur is out of stock at Toys R Us in Trinoma but he enlisted his name so the toy store can alert him if zipbin dinosaur stocks become available.
Update January 7, 2010: Kulay finally got his dinosaur zipbin
